Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5443
Narrated by Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever seeks Laylat al-Qadr, let him seek it in the last ten days, and if he is overwhelmed by it or becomes weak, then let him not be overcome in the last seven nights.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”شب قدر کو تلاش کرنے والا اسے آخری عشرے میں تلاش کرے، اگر اس سے عاجز آ جائے یا کمزور ہو جائے تو آخری سات راتوں پر مغلوب نہ ہو۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Shab e Qadr ko talash karne wala ise aakhri ashray mein talash kare, agar is se aajiz aa jaye ya kamzor ho jaye to aakhri saat raaton par maghloob na ho."
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ ، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" مَنْ كَانَ مُلْتَمِسَهَا، فَلْيَلْتَمِسْهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ، فَإِنْ عَجَزَ أَوْ ضَعُفَ، فَلَا يُغْلَبْ عَلَى السَّبْعِ الْبَوَاقِي".
