Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5458
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), seeing a slain woman in one of the battles, expressed his disapproval and forbade the killing of women and children.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے کسی غزوہ میں ایک مقتول عورت کو دیکھا تو اس پر نکیر فرمائی اور عورتوں اور بچوں کو قتل کر نے سے روک دیا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kisi ghazwa mein ek maqtool aurat ko dekha to us par nakir farmai aur auraton aur bachchon ko qatl karne se rok diya.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" رَأَى فِي بَعْضِ مَغَازِيهِ امْرَأَةً مَقْتُولَةً، فَأَنْكَرَ ذَلِكَ، وَنَهَى عَنْ قَتْلِ النِّسَاءِ وَالصِّبْيَانِ".
