Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5485
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Seek Laylat al-Qadr in the last ten nights, and if you are unable to do so or become weak, then do not let the last seven nights overpower you.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”شب قدر کو آخری عشرے میں تلاش کیا کرو اگر اس سے عاجز آ جاؤ یا کمزور ہو جاؤ تو آخری سات راتوں پر مغلوب نہ ہونا۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: “Shab e Qadr ko aakhri ashray mein talaash kiya karo agar is se aajiz aa jao ya kamzor ho jao to aakhri saat raaton par maghloob na hona.”
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ ، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" الْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ، يَعْنِي لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ، فَإِنْ ضَعُفَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَوْ عَجَزَ، فَلَا يُغْلَبَنَّ عَلَى السَّبْعِ الْبَوَاقِي".
