Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5514
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "None of you should eat or drink with his left hand, for the Satan eats and drinks with his left hand."
Grade: Sahih
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”تم میں سے کوئی شخص بائیں ہاتھ سے مت کھایا پیا کرے کیونکہ بائیں ہاتھ سے شیطان کھاتا پیتا ہے"۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar Radi Allah Anhuma se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Tum mein se koi shakhs bayen hath se mut khaya piya kare kyunki bayen hath se shaitan khata peeta hai".
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" لَا يَأْكُلْ أَحَدُكُمْ بِشِمَالِهِ، وَلَا يَشْرَبْ بِشِمَالِهِ، فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَأْكُلُ بِشِمَالِهِ، وَيَشْرَبُ بِشِمَالِهِ".
