Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5626
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Anas Radi Allahu Anhu (May Allah be pleased with him), that when a Muslim reaches the age of forty, Allah Almighty protects him from various diseases such as insanity, vitiligo and leprosy. When he reaches the age of fifty, Allah makes his reckoning easy. When he reaches the age of sixty, Allah grants him the ability to turn towards Him and begins to love him because of it. When he reaches the age of seventy, Allah and the dwellers of the heavens begin to love him. When he reaches the age of eighty, Allah forgives all his previous sins and he is given the title of "Prisoner of Allah on Earth." His intercession regarding his family will be accepted.

سیدنا انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے موقوفاً مروی ہے کہ جب کوئی مسلمان چالیس سال کی عمر کو پہنچتا ہے تو اللہ تعالیٰ اسے مختلف قسم کی بیماریوں مثلاً جنون، برص اور جذام سے محفوظ کر دیتا ہے، جب پچاس سال کی عمر کا ہو جائے تو اللہ اس کے حساب میں نرمی کر دیتا ہے جب ساٹھ سال کی عمر کو پہنچ جائے تو اللہ اسے اپنی طرف رجوع کرنے کی توفیق دے دیتا ہے، اور اس کی بناء پر اس سے محبت کرنے لگتا ہے جب ستر سال کی عمر ہو جائے تو اللہ اور آسمان والے اس سے محبت کرنے لگتے ہیں جب اسی سال کی عمر ہو جائے تو اللہ اس کے اگلے پچھلے سارے گناہ معاف کر دیتا ہے اور اسے «اسير الله فى الارض» کا خطاب دیا جاتا ہے اور اس کے اہل خانہ کے بارے میں اس کی سفارش قبول کی جائے گی۔
Sayyiduna Anas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se moqufan marvi hai ki jab koi musalman chalis saal ki umar ko pahunchta hai to Allah Ta'ala use mukhtalif qisam ki bimariyon maslan junoon, bars aur juzdam se mahfooz kar deta hai, jab pachas saal ki umar ka ho jaye to Allah uske hisab mein narmi kar deta hai jab saath saal ki umar ko pahunch jaye to Allah use apni taraf rujoo karne ki taufeeq de deta hai, aur uski bina par us se mohabbat karne lagta hai jab sattar saal ki umar ho jaye to Allah aur aasman wale us se mohabbat karne lagte hain jab assi saal ki umar ho jaye to Allah uske agle pichle sare gunah maaf kar deta hai aur use «Aseer Allah fil Arz» ka khitab diya jata hai aur uske ahl khana ke bare mein uski sifarish qabool ki jayegi.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْفَرَجُ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ:" إِذَا بَلَغَ الرَّجُلُ الْمُسْلِمُ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً، آمَنَهُ اللَّهُ مِنْ أَنْوَاعِ الْبَلَايَا: مِنَ الْجُنُونِ، وَالْبَرَصِ، وَالْجُذَامِ، وَإِذَا بَلَغَ الْخَمْسِينَ، لَيَّنَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَلَيْهِ حِسَابَهُ، وَإِذَا بَلَغَ السِّتِّينَ رَزَقَهُ اللَّهُ إِنَابَةً يُحِبُّهُ عَلَيْهَا، وَإِذَا بَلَغَ السَّبْعِينَ أَحَبَّهُ اللَّهُ وَأَحَبَّهُ أَهْلُ السَّمَاءِ، وَإِذَا بَلَغَ الثَّمَانِينَ، تَقَبَّلَ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ حَسَنَاتِهِ، وَمَحَا عَنْهُ سَيِّئَاتِهِ، وَإِذَا بَلَغَ التِّسْعِينَ، غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ، وَسُمِّيَ أَسِيرَ اللَّهِ فِي الْأَرْضِ، وَشُفِّعَ فِي أَهْلِهِ".
