Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5737

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to walk briskly in the first three circuits of Tawaf and at a normal pace in the remaining four circuits, and he used to run between Safa and Marwah during Sa'i in the area called "Batn-e-Masil".

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ طواف کے پہلے تین چکروں میں رمل اور باقی چار چکروں میں عام رفتار رکھتے تھے اور صفاء مروہ کے درمیان سعی کرتے ہوئے ”بطن مسیل“ میں دوڑتے تھے۔

Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) tawaf ke pehle teen chakro mein raml aur baqi chaar chakro mein aam raftar rakhte the aur Safa Marwah ke darmiyan say karte huye 'batn e masil' mein daudate the.

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ:" كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا طَافَ الطَّوَافَ الْأَوَّلَ، خَبَّ ثَلَاثًا وَمَشَى أَرْبَعًا، وَكَانَ يَسْعَى بِبَطْنِ الْمَسِيلِ إِذَا طَافَ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا , وَالْمَرْوَةِ".
