Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5781
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made it obligatory on every Muslim, free or slave, young or old, to pay Zakat al-Fitr, one Sa' of dates or one Sa' of barley.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے آزاد و غلام، چھوٹے اور بڑے سب پر صدقہ فطر ایک صاع کھجور یا ایک صاع جَو مقرر فرمایا ہے۔
Sayydena Ibn e Umar RA se marvi hai keh Nabi SAW ne azad o ghulam, chhote aur bare sab per sadqa fitr ek sa'a khajoor ya ek sa'a jau muqarrar farmaya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" فَرَضَ زَكَاةَ الْفِطْرِ صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ، أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ، عَلَى كُلِّ عَبْدٍ أَوْ حُرٍّ، صَغِيرٍ أَوْ كَبِيرٍ".
