The Musnad of Abdullah ibn Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with them both)
مسنَد عَبدِ اللَّهِ بنِ عمَرَ بنِ الخَطَّابِ رَضِیَ اللَّه تَعَالَى عَنهمَا
Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5835
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn 'Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not intend to pray at the time of sunrise or sunset, for the sun rises between the two horns of Satan."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”طلوع آفتاب یا غروب آفتاب کے وقت نماز پڑھنے کا ارادہ نہ کیا کرو، کیونکہ سورج شیطان کے دو سینگوں کے درمیان طلوع ہوتا ہے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Tulu-e-aftab ya ghuroob-e-aftab ke waqt namaz padhne ka irada na kiya karo, kyunki sooraj shaitan ke do seengon ke darmiyan tulu hota hai.“
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الله بِنْ نَافِع ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ:" لَا يَتَحَرَّى أَحَدُكُمْ الصَّلَاةَ طُلُوعَ الشَّمْسِ وَلَا غُرُوبَهَا، فَإِنَّهَا تَطْلُعُ بَيْنَ قَرْنَيْ الشَّيْطَانِ".
