Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5917
It is narrated by Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade people from fasting continuously for several days on one suhoor (pre-dawn meal) (during the month of Ramadan). They said, "But don't you do the same?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "I am provided for and given to drink by Allah."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے (رمضان کے مہینے میں) ایک ہی سحری سے مسلسل کئی روزے رکھنے سے لوگوں کو روکا، تو وہ کہنے لگے کہ کیا آپ اس طرح نہیں کرتے؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”مجھے تو اللہ کی طرف سے کھلا پلا دیا جاتا ہے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne (Ramzan ke mahine mein) ek hi sehri se musalsal kai roze rakhne se logon ko roka, to wo kahne lage ki kya aap is tarah nahin karte? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Mujhe to Allah ki taraf se khila pila diya jata hai."
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ:" نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْوِصَالِ"، فَقَالَ: أَوَلَسْتَ تُوَاصِلُ؟ قَالَ:" إِنِّي أُطْعَمُ وَأُسْقَى".
