Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5923
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The example of the bearer of the Quran is like the owner of a tied camel. If its owner keeps it tied, it remains under his control, and if he lets it loose, it runs away."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”حامل قرآن کی مثال بندھے ہوئے اونٹ کے مالک کی طرح ہے جسے اس کا مالک اگر باندھ کر رکھے تو وہ اس کے قابو میں رہتا ہے اور اگر کھلاچھوڑ دے تو وہ نکل جاتا ہے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Hamil Quran ki misal bandhe huye unt ke malik ki tarah hai jise uska malik agar bandh kar rakhe to vah uske qaboo mein rehta hai aur agar khula chhod de to vah nikal jata hai.“
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ صَاحِبِ الْقُرْآنِ كَمَثَلِ صَاحِبِ الْإِبِلِ الْمُعَقَّلَةِ، فَإِنْ تَعَاهَدَهَا أَمْسَكَهَا، وَإِنْ أَطْلَقَهَا ذَهَبَتْ".
