Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5989
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, forbade (the hairstyle) "Qaza'." (Qaza' means that when a child's hair is cut, some of the hair is shaved off and some is left as is the fashion nowadays).

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے " قزع " سے منع فرمایا: ہے (قزع کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ بچے کے بال کٹواتے وقت کچھ بال کٹوالیے جائیں اور کچھ چھوڑ دئیے جائیں جیسا کہ آج کل فیشن ہے)
Sayyda Ibne Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne "Qaza" se mana farmaya hai (Qaza ka matlab ye hai keh bachay ke baal katwate waqt kuch baal katwa liye jayen aur kuch chor diye jayen jaisa keh aaj kal fashion hai).
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الْمَدَائِنِيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُبَارَكُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا حَدَّثَهُ، قَالَ:" نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْقَزَعِ".
