Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 5995
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying, "He who considers himself great or walks with a haughty gait, will meet Allah while He is angry with him."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ جو شخص اپنے آپ کو بڑا سمجھے یا اپنی چال میں متکبرانہ چال کو جگہ دے، وہ اللہ سے اس حال میں ملے گا کہ اللہ اس سے ناراض ہو گا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki jo shakhs apne aap ko bada samjhe ya apni chaal mein mutakabbirana chaal ko jagah de, woh Allah se is haal mein milega ki Allah us se naraz hoga.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ الْحَنَفِيُّ يَمَامِيٌّ ، سَمِعْتُ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنَ خَالِدٍ الْمَخْزُومِيَّ , يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ , يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , يَقُولُ:" مَنْ تَعَظَّمَ فِي نَفْسِهِ، أَوْ اخْتَالَ فِي مِشْيَتِهِ، لَقِيَ اللَّهَ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ غَضْبَانُ".
