Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6016
Saeed (May Allah have mercy on him) narrates that once he was returning from Hajj with Ibn Umar (May Allah be pleased with them both). We came across a Yemeni caravan. Their tents or shelters were made of leather, and the reins of their camels felt like twisted ropes. Upon seeing this caravan, Ibn Umar (May Allah be pleased with them both) remarked, "Whoever wishes to see a caravan from amongst those who came for Hajj this year, that most resembles the caravan of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and his companions (May Allah be pleased with them) on the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage, should look at this caravan."

سعیدرحمتہ اللہ علیہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں حج سے واپسی کے بعد سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کے ساتھ آ رہا تھا، ہمارا گزر ایک یمانی قافلہ پر ہوا ان کے خیمے یا کجاوے چمڑے کے تھے اور ان کے اونٹوں کی لگا میں پھندے کی طرح محسوس ہوتی تھیں، سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما اس قافلہ کو دیکھ کر فرمانے لگے کہ جو شخص اس سال حج کے لئے آنے والے قافلوں میں سے کسی ایسے قافلے کو دیکھنا چاہے جو حجۃ الوداع کے موقع پر نبی ﷺ اور صحابہ کر ام رضی اللہ عنہ کے سب سے زیادہ مشابہہ ہو، وہ اس قافلے کو دیکھ لے۔
Saeed rehmatullah alaih kehte hain keh main Hajj se wapsi ke baad Sayyiduna Ibn Umar razi Allah anhuma ke saath aa raha tha, hamara guzar ek Yamani qafila par hua un ke khaime ya kajave chamade ke the aur un ke oonton ki laga mein phande ki tarah mehsoos hoti thin, Sayyiduna Ibn Umar razi Allah anhuma is qafila ko dekh kar farmane lage keh jo shakhs is saal Hajj ke liye aane wale qafalon mein se kisi aise qafila ko dekhna chahe jo Hajjat alwida ke mauqe par Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) aur Sahaba kiram razi Allah anhu ke sab se zyada mushabaha ho, woh is qafila ko dekh le.
حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: صَدَرْتُ مَعَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ يَوْمَ الصَّدَرِ، فَمَرَّتْ بِنَا رُفْقَةٌ يَمَانِيَةٌ، وَرِحَالُهُمْ الْأُدُمُ، وَخُطُمُ إِبِلِهِمْ الْجُرُرُ، فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ :" مَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى أَشْبَهِ رُفْقَةٍ وَرَدَتْ الْحَجَّ الْعَامَ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَصْحَابِهِ إِذْ قَدِمُوا فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ، فَلْيَنْظُرْ إِلَى هَذِهِ الرُّفْقَةِ".
