Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6020
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said from the pulpit: "When one of you comes for Friday prayer, he should perform Ghusl (ritual bath)."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے بر سر منبرارشاد فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص جمعہ کے لئے آئے تو اسے چاہئے کہ غسل کر کے آئے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne bar sar mimbar irshad farmaya: Jab tum mein se koi shakhs juma ke liye aaye to use chahiye ki gusl kar ke aaye.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، حَدَّثَنِي لَيْثٌ ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ ، وَيُونُسُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ:" مَنْ جَاءَ مِنْكُمْ الْجُمُعَةَ فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ".
