Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6031
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying this on the pulpit, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) pointed towards the East with his hand and said: “Fitnah (tribulation) will emerge from here, from where the horn of Satan rises.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو برسر منبر یہ کہتے ہوئے سنا آپ ﷺ نے اپنے ہاتھ سے مشرق کی طرف اشارہ کیا اور فرمایا: فتنہ یہاں سے ہو گا جہاں سے شیطان کا سینگ نکلتا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko barsar mimbar ye kehte huye suna Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apne hath se mashriq ki taraf ishara kiya aur farmaya: Fitna yahan se hoga jahan se shaitan ka sing nikalta hai.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ:" أَلَا إِنَّ الْفِتْنَةَ هَاهُنَا يُشِيرُ إِلَى الْمَشْرِقِ مِنْ حَيْثُ يَطْلُعُ قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ".
