Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6071
It is narrated on the authority of our master, the son of Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offering voluntary prayers while riding. Our master, the son of Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) also used to do the same.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ میں نے کو دیکھا ہے کہ وہ سواری پر نفل نماز پڑھ لیا کرتے تھے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما خود بھی اسی طرح کر لیتے تھے۔
Saina Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mein ne ko dekha hai ki woh sawari par nafl namaz parh liya karte thay Saina Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a khud bhi isi tarah kar lete thay.
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْأَحْمَرُ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" يُصَلِّي عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ"، وَنَافِعٌ: أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ.
