Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6112
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When you meet a returning pilgrim, greet him with salaam, shake hands with him, and before he enters his house, ask him to pray for your forgiveness, for he has been forgiven and pardoned.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: جب کسی حاجی سے ملو تو اسے سلام کرو اس سے مصافحہ کرو اور اس کے اپنے گھر میں داخل ہونے سے پہلے اپنے لئے بخشش کی دعاء کرواؤ کیونکہ وہ بخشا بخشایا ہوا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Jab kisi Haji se milo to use salam karo us se musafaha karo aur uske apne ghar mein dakhil hone se pehle apne liye bakhshish ki dua karwao kyunki woh bakhsha bakhshaya hua hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْحَارِثِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْبَيْلَمَانِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِذَا لَقِيتَ الْحَاجَّ فَسَلِّمْ عَلَيْهِ، وَصَافِحْهُ، وَمُرْهُ أَنْ يَسْتَغْفِرَ لَكَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ بَيْتَهُ، فَإِنَّهُ مَغْفُورٌ لَهُ".
