Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6159
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered the Salat al-Khawf (prayer of fear) in this way: He made one group stand behind him and made them perform one bowing (ruku) and two prostrations (sajdahs), while the other group remained standing facing the enemy. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) proceeded, and the group that had prayed one rak'ah with him went (to face the enemy), and the other group came (and stood behind him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made them also perform one bowing and two prostrations, and then he finished the prayer (with taslim). After that, every man from both groups stood up and completed one rak'ah with two prostrations by himself.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے صلوۃ الخوف اس طرح پڑھائی ہے کہ ایک گروہ کو اپنے پیچھے کھڑا کر کے ایک رکوع اور دو سجدے کروائے دوسرا گروہ دشمن کے سامنے کھڑا رہا پھر نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ جس گروہ نے ایک رکعت پڑھی تھی وہ چلا گیا اور دوسرا گروہ آگیا نبی ﷺ نے انہیں بھی ایک رکوع اور دو سجدے کروائے اور نبی ﷺ نے سلام پھیر دیا اس کے بعد دونوں گروہوں کے ہر آدمی نے کھڑے ہو کر خود ہی ایک رکعت دو سجدوں کے ساتھ پڑھ لی۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Salatul Khauf is tarah parhayi hai ki ek giroh ko apne peeche khara kar ke ek ruku aur do sajday karwaye dusra giroh dushman ke samne khara raha phir Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath jis giroh ne ek rakat parhayi thi wo chala gaya aur dusra giroh aa gaya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unhen bhi ek ruku aur do sajday karwaye aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne salam phir diya uske bad dono girohon ke har aadmi ne kharay ho kar khud hi ek rakat do sajdon ke sath parh li.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ , أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" صَلَّى صَلَاةَ الْخَوْفِ بِإِحْدَى الطَّائِفَتَيْنِ رَكْعَةً وَسَجْدَتَيْنِ، وَالطَّائِفَةُ الْأُخْرَى مُوَاجِهَةُ الْعَدُوِّ، ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَتْ الطَّائِفَةُ الَّتِي مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَأَقْبَلَتْ الطَّائِفَةُ الْأُخْرَى، فَصَلَّى بِهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَكْعَةً وَسَجْدَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ثُمَّ قَامَ كُلُّ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الطَّائِفَتَيْنِ، فَرَكَعَ لِنَفْسِهِ رَكْعَةً وَسَجْدَتَيْنِ".
