Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6184
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abdullah Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "None of you should eat or drink with his left hand, for Satan eats and drinks with his left hand."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: تم میں سے کوئی شخص بائیں ہاتھ سے نہ کھائے پیے کیونکہ بائیں ہاتھ سے شیطان کھاتا پیتا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Tum mein se koi shakhs bayen hath se na khaye piye kyunki bayen hath se shaitan khata peeta hai.
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ أَخِيهِ عُمَرَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، سَمِعْتُ سَالِمًا , يَقُولُ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ , قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" لَا يَأْكُلَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ بِشِمَالِهِ، وَلَا يَشْرَبَنَّ بِهَا، فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَأْكُلُ بِشِمَالِهِ، وَيَشْرَبُ بِهَا".
