Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6207
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "When Allah sends down a punishment upon a nation, it befalls all those residing there (both the righteous and the wicked are caught in it). Then Allah will resurrect them according to their deeds." It is like this in the Book.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: جب اللہ کسی قوم پر عذاب مسلط کرتا ہے تو وہ عذاب وہاں رہنے والے تمام لوگوں کو ہوتا ہے (جن میں نیک اور بد سب ہی اس کی لپیٹ میں آتے ہیں) پھر اللہ تعالیٰ انہیں ان کے اعمال کے مطابق دوبارہ زندگی دے گا کتاب میں اسی طرح ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Jab Allah kisi qaum par azab musallat karta hai to wo azab wahan rehne wale tamam logon ko hota hai (jin mein nek aur bad sab hi uski lapet mein aate hain) phir Allah Ta'ala unhen unke aamal ke mutabiq dobara zindagi dega kitab mein isi tarah hai.
حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو شِهَابٍ ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ هُنَيْدَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِذَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ بِقَوْمٍ عَذَابًا أَصَابَ الْعَذَابُ مَنْ كَانَ بَيْنَ أَظْهُرِهِمْ، ثُمَّ يَبْعَثُهُمْ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى عَلَى أَعْمَالِهِمْ" كَذَا فِي الْكِتَابِ.
