Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6271
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had a silver ring made which remained in the possession of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). After the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), that ring remained in the possession of Sayyidina Abu Bakr Siddique (may Allah be pleased with him), then in the possession of Sayyidina Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyidina Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him), and then it came to Sayyidina Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) respectively. It was engraved with "Muhammad Rasulullah" (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے چاندی کی ایک انگوٹھی بنوائی تھی جو آپ ﷺ کے ہاتھ میں ہی رہی نبی کریم ﷺ کے بعد وہ انگوٹھی سیدنا صدیق اکبر رضی اللہ عنہ کے ہاتھ میں رہی پھر سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ اور سیدنا عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ کے ہاتھ میں پھر سیدنا علی رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس رہی علی الترتیب اس پر " محمد رسول اللہ " نقش تھا ﷺ ۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne chandi ki ek anguthi banwai thi jo aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke hath mein hi rahi Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke bad wo anguthi Sayyidna Siddiq Akbar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke hath mein rahi phir Sayyidna Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) aur Sayyidna Usman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke hath mein phir Sayyidna Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke pass rahi ali tartib is par "Muhammad Rasul Allah" naqsh tha (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم).
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: اتَّخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَاتَمًا مِنْ وَرِقٍ، فَكَانَ فِي يَدِهِ، ثُمَّ كَانَ فِي يَدِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ، ثُمَّ كَانَ فِي يَدِ عُمَرَ، ثُمَّ كَانَ فِي يَدِ عُثْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُمْ، نَقْشُهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ.
