Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6283
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the blessed era of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), men and women used to perform ablution from the same container and would start together.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے دور باسعادت میں مرد اور عورتیں اکٹھے ایک ہی برتن سے وضو کر لیتے تھے اور اکٹھے ہی شروع کر لیتے تھے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke daur e basadat mein mard aur auratain ek sath ek hi bartan se wuzu kar lete thay aur ek sath hi shuru kar lete thay.
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، قَالَ عَبْد الله بْنِ أَحْمَّد: كَذَا قَالَ أَبِي:" كَانَ النِّسَاءُ وَالرِّجَالُ يَتَوَضَّئُونَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ، وَيُشْرِعُونَ فِيهِ جَمِيعًا".
