The Musnad of Abdullah ibn Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with them both)
مسنَد عَبدِ اللَّهِ بنِ عمَرَ بنِ الخَطَّابِ رَضِیَ اللَّه تَعَالَى عَنهمَا
Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6384
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said on the day of Hudaibiyah: “O Allah, forgive those who shaved their heads.” A man said: “Invoke Allah for those who shortened (their hair).” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) then said for the third or fourth time: “O Allah, forgive those who shortened (their hair).”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے حدیبیہ کے دن ارشاد فرمایا: ”اے اللہ حلق کر انے والوں کو معاف فرمادے ایک صاحب نے عرض کیا قصر کر انے والوں کے لئے بھی تو دعاء فرمایئے نبی کریم ﷺ نے تیسری یا چوتھی مرتبہ قصر کر انے والوں کے لئے فرمایا: ”کہ اے اللہ قصر کر انے والوں کو بھی معاف فرمادے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Hudaibiya ke din irshad farmaya: “Aye Allah halq karne walon ko maaf farma de” Ek sahab ne arz kiya qasar karne walon ke liye bhi to dua farmaye Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne teesri ya chauthi martaba qasar karne walon ke liye farmaya: “ke aye Allah qasar karne walon ko bhi maaf farma de”.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ يَوْمَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ:" اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ"، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ"، حَتَّى قَالَهَا ثَلَاثًا أَوْ أَرْبَعًا، ثُمَّ قَالَ:" وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ".
