Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6385
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered the stoning of a man and a woman, I was present there. When they began to stone them, I saw the man shielding the woman from the stones with his hands.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے جس وقت دو مرد و عورت کو سنگسار کر نے کا حکم دیا میں وہاں موجود تھا جب انہیں سنگسار کیا جانے لگا تو میں نے اس مرد کو دیکھا کہ وہ اپنے ہاتھوں سے اس عورت کو پتھروں سے بچانے کے لئے جھکا پڑ رہا تھا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne jis waqt do mard o aurat ko sangsar karne ka hukum diya main wahan mojood tha jab unhen sangsar kiya jane laga to maine us mard ko dekha ki woh apne hathon se us aurat ko patharon se bachane ke liye jhuka pad raha tha.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: شَهِدْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ أَمَرَ بِرَجْمِهِمَا، فَلَمَّا رُجِمَا رَأَيْتُهُ" يُجَانِئُ بِيَدَيْهِ عَنْهَا لِيَقِيَهَا الْحِجَارَةَ".
