Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6415
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) bargained for the purchase of Barira (may Allah be pleased with her). When the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) returned after offering prayer, Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said that the owner of Barira (may Allah be pleased with her) had refused to sell her, saying that he would only sell her if her Wala (right of patronage) belonged to them. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The right of Wala belongs to the one who sets the slave free."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ سیدہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو خریدنے کے لئے بھاؤ تاؤ کیا نبی کریم ﷺ نماز پڑھ کرواپس آئے تو سیدہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہنے لگیں کہ بریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے مالک نے انہیں بیچنے سے انکار کر دیا اور کہا کہ اگر ولاء ہمیں ملے تو ہم بیچ دیں گے، نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”ولاء اسی کا حق ہے جو غلام کو آزاد کرتا ہے۔
Sayyida Ibne Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai keh Sayyida Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ne Buraira ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ko kharidne ke lye bhaav taav kiya Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) namaz parh kar vapas aaye to Sayyida Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) kehne lagi keh Buraira ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ke malik ne unhen bechne se inkaar kar diya aur kaha keh agar wala humen mile to hum bech denge, Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ”Wala usi ka haq hai jo gulam ko azad karta hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ , أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ سَاوَمَتْ بَرِيرَةَ، فَرَجَعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ، فَقَالَتْ: أَبَوْا أَنْ يَبِيعُوهَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَشْتَرِطُوا الْوَلَاءَ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" الْوَلَاءُ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ".
