Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6453
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever frees his share from a jointly owned slave, then the price of the slave shall be estimated. If he does not have wealth, then he will only be required to pay for the share that he freed.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جو شخص کسی مشترکہ غلام کو اپنے حصے کے بقدر آزاد کر دیتا ہے تو وہ غلام کی قیمت لگائی جائے گی اگر اس کے پاس مال نہ ہو تو جتنا اس نے آزاد کیا ہے اتنا ہی رہے گا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Jo shakhs kisi mushtareka gulam ko apne hisse ke baqadr azad kar deta hai to woh gulam ki qeemat lagayi jayegi agar uske pass maal na ho to jitna usne azad kiya hai utna hi rahega.
حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" مَنْ أَعْتَقَ شِرْكًا لَهُ فِي مَمْلُوكٍ، قُوِّمَ عَلَيْهِ فِي مَالِهِ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ مَالٌ، عَتَقَ مِنْهُ مَا عَتَقَ".
