Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6465
Imam Shabi, may Allah have mercy on him, said: "I used to visit Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, for nearly two years and during this time, I did not hear any other Hadith from him except this Hadith," and then he narrated the Hadith of cow dung.

امام شعبی رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کے پاس دو سال کے قریب آتا جاتا رہا ہوں لیکن اس دوران میں نے ان سے اس کے علاوہ کوئی اور حدیث نہیں سنی پھر انہوں نے گوہ والی حدیث ذکر کی۔
Imam Shabi rehmatullah alaih kahte hain ke main Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ke pass do saal ke qareeb aata jata raha hun lekin is dauran main ne un se is ke ilawa koi aur hadees nahin suni phir unhon ne goh wali hadees zikar ki.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قَطَنٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي السَّفَرِ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، قَالَ: جَالَسْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ سَنَتَيْنِ، مَا سَمِعْتُهُ رَوَى شَيْئًا عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ حَدِيثَ" الضَّبِّ أَوْ الْأَضُبِّ".
