Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 7135
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “There is no such thing as offering a sacrifice specifically during the month of Rajab in Islam, nor is there any basis for sacrificing the firstborn of an animal in the name of idols.”

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”اسلام میں ماہ رجب میں قربانی کرنے کی کوئی حیثیت نہیں، اسی طرح جانور کا سب سے پہلا بچہ بتوں کے نام قربان کرنے کی بھی کوئی حیثیت نہیں۔“
Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Islam mein mah Rajab mein qurbani karne ki koi haisiyat nahin, isi tarah janwar ka sab se pehla bachcha buton ke naam qurban karne ki bhi koi haisiyat nahin.“
حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، قَالَ: إِنْ لَمْ أَكُنْ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْهُ يَعْنِي الزُّهْرِيَّ ، فَحَدَّثَنِي سُفْيَانُ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" لَا عَتِيرَةَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ، وَلَا فَرَعَ".
