Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 7291
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “A prayer in which Surah Fatihah is not recited is deficient, deficient, deficient.” He (Abu Hurairah) said, “The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said this to me and before me as well.” Then he (Abu Hurairah) said, “O Persians! Recite Surah Fatihah, for I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying that he heard Allah, the Exalted, saying: ‘I have divided the prayer between Myself and My servant into two halves, and My servant shall have what he asks for.’ When the servant says, ‘All praise and thanks are due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds,’ Allah, the Exalted, says: ‘My servant has praised Me.’ When the servant says, ‘The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,’ Allah, the Exalted, says: ‘My servant has extolled Me.’ When the servant says, ‘The Master of the Day of Judgment,’ Allah, the Exalted, says: ‘My servant has glorified Me.’ When the servant says, ‘You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help,’ Allah, the Exalted, says: ‘This is between Me and My servant, and My servant shall have what he asks for.’ When the servant says, ‘Guide us to the straight path, the path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray,’ Allah, the Exalted, says: ‘This is for My servant, and My servant shall have what he asks for.’” In another narration, it is stated: “…and he shall have what he asks of Me.”

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ جس نماز میں سورت فاتحہ نہ پڑھی جائے وہ نامکمل ہے نامکمل ہے نامکمل ہے اور یہ بات مجھ سے پہلے میرے حبیب علیہ السلام نے بھی فرمائی ہے پھر فرمایا: کہ اے فارسی! سورت فاتحہ پڑھا کرو کیونکہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ ارشادباری تعالیٰ ہے میں نے نماز کو اپنے اور اپنے بندے کے درمیان تقسیم کر دیا ہے (اور میرا بندہ جو مانگے گا اسے وہ ملے گا) چنانچہ جب بندہ الحمد للہ رب العلمین کہتا ہے تو اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتے ہیں میرے بندے نے میری تعریف بیان کی جب بندہ کہتا ہے الرحمن الرحیم۔ تو اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتے ہیں میرے بندے نے میری بزرگی یا ثناء بیان کی جب بندہ کہتا ہے مالک یوم الدین تو اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتے ہیں میرے بندے نے اپنے آپ کو میرے سپرد کر دیاجب بندہ ایاک نعبد وایاک نستعین کہتا ہے تو اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتے ہیں کہ یہ میرے اور میرے بندے کے درمیان ہے اور میرا بندہ مجھ سے جو مانگے گا اسے وہ ملے گا پھر جب بندہ اھدناالصراط المستقیم سے آخر تک پڑھتا ہے تو اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتے ہیں یہ میرے بندے کے لئے ہے اور جو تو نے مجھ سے مانگاوہ تجھے مل کر رہے گا ایک دوسری روایت میں ہے کہ میرے بندے نے مجھ سے جو مانگا وہ اسے ملے گا۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) farmate hain ki jis namaz mein Surah Fatiha na parhi jaye woh namukammal hai namukammal hai namukammal hai aur ye baat mujhse pehle mere Habib Alaihissalam ne bhi farmaayi hai phir farmaya: ki aye Farsi! Surah Fatiha parha karo kyunki maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki irshad e bari tala hai maine namaz ko apne aur apne bande ke darmiyan taqseem kar diya hai (aur mera banda jo mangega usay woh milay ga) chunancha jab banda Alhamdulillah-e-Rabbil Aalameen kehta hai to Allah tala farmate hain mere bande ne meri tareef bayan ki jab banda kehta hai Ar-Rahmanir-Raheem. To Allah tala farmate hain mere bande ne meri buzрги ya sana bayan ki jab banda kehta hai Maliki Yaumiddin to Allah tala farmate hain mere bande ne apne aap ko mere supurd kar diya jab banda Iyyaka Na'budu Wa Iyyaka Nasta'een kehta hai to Allah tala farmate hain ki ye mere aur mere bande ke darmiyan hai aur mera banda mujhse jo mangega usay woh milay ga phir jab banda Ihdinas Siratal Mustaqeem se akhir tak parhta hai to Allah tala farmate hain ye mere bande ke liye hai aur jo tu ne mujhse mangao woh tujhe mil kar rahe ga ek dusri riwayat mein hai ki mere bande ne mujhse jo manga woh usay milay ga.
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، أَخْبَرَنِي الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ الْحُرَقِيِّ ، فِي بَيْتِهِ عَلَى فِرَاشِهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ : " أَيُّمَا صَلَاةٍ لَا يُقْرَأُ فِيهَا بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ، فهي خداج، ثم هي خداج، ثم هي خداج" . قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ : وَقَالَ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ حَبِيبِي عَلَيْهِ الصَّلَاة وَالسَّلَامُ، قَالَ: فَقَالَ يَا فَارِسِيُّ، اقْرَأْ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ، فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: قَسَمْتُ الصَّلَاةَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ عَبْدِي، وَقَالَ مَرَّةً: لِعَبْدِي مَا سَأَلَ، فَإِذَا قَالَ: الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ سورة الفاتحة آية 2، قَال: حَمِدَنِي عَبْدِي، فَإِذَا قَالَ: الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ سورة الفاتحة آية 3، قَالَ: مَجَّدَنِي عَبْدِي، أَوْ أَثْنَى عَلَيَّ عَبْدِي، فَإِذَا قَالَ: مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ سورة الفاتحة آية 4، قَالَ: فَوَّضَ إِلَيَّ عَبْدِي، فَإِذَا قَالَ: إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ سورة الفاتحة آية 5، قَالَ: فَهَذِهِ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ عَبْدِي، وَلِعَبْدِي مَا سَأَلَ، وَقَالَ مَرَّةً: مَا سَأَلَنِي، فَيَسْأَلُهُ عَبْدُهُ: اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلا الضَّالِّينَ سورة الفاتحة آية 6 - 7، قَالَ: هَذَا لِعَبْدِي، ولَكَ مَا سَأَلْتَ، وَقَالَ مَرَّةً: وَلِعَبْدِي مَا سَأَلَنِي" .
