Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 7373
Narrated Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him): I relate to you short narrations from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) like this: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade drinking water directly from the mouth of a waterskin.

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں تمہارے سامنے نبی کریم ﷺ کے حوالے سے مختصر احادیث بیان کرتا ہوں مثلا یہ کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے مشکیزے کے منہ سے منہ لگا کر پانی پینے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira razi Allah anhu se marvi hai keh mein tumhare samne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke hawale se mukhtasar ahadees bayan karta hun maslan yeh keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mashkize ke munh se munh laga kar pani pine se mana farmaya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: أُحَدِّثُكُمْ بِأَشْيَاءَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قِصَارٍ:" لَا يَشْرَبْ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ فَمِ السِّقَاءِ".
