Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 7466
Narrated Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "When anyone of you prays wearing a single garment, he should put its ends over his shoulders, one over the right and the other over the left."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص ایک کپڑے میں نماز پڑھے تو اسے کپڑے کے دونوں کنارے مخالف سمت سے اپنے کندھوں پر ڈال لینے چاہئیں۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jab tum mein se koi shakhs ek kapre mein namaz parhe to use kapre ke donon kinare mukhalif simt se apne kandhon par daal lene chahiyen.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ:" إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ، فَلْيُخَالِفْ بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ عَلَى عَاتِقَيْهِ".
