Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 7485
It was narrated from Abu Huraira that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The example of me and the Prophets who came before me is that of a man who built a house and adorned it, except for the place of one brick. The people would go around it and marvel at it, saying, ‘What a beautiful building, except for the place of this brick!’ So I am that brick, and I am the seal of the Prophets.”

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا میری اور مجھ سے پہلے انبیاء کی مثال ایسے ہے جیسے کسی آدمی نے نہایت حسین و جمیل عمارت بنائی البتہ اس کے کونے میں ایک اینٹ کی جگہ چھوڑ دی لوگ اس کے گرد چکر لگاتے تعجب کرتے اور کہتے جاتے تھے کہ ہم نے اس سے عمدہ عمارت کوئی نہیں دیکھی سوائے اس اینٹ کی جگہ کے سو وہ اینٹ میں ہوں۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya meri aur mujh se pehle anbiya ki misaal aise hai jaise kisi aadmi ne nihayat haseen o jameel imarat banayi albatta uske kone mein ek eent ki jagah chhor di log uske gird chakkar lagate taajjub karte aur kehte jate the ke humne is se umda imarat koi nahi dekhi siwaye is eent ki jagah ke so wo eent mein hun.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" مَثَلِي وَمَثَلُ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ مِنْ قَبْلِي، كَمَثَلِ رَجُلٍ ابْتَنَى بُنْيَانًا، فَأَحْسَنَهُ، وَأَكْمَلَهُ إِلَّا مَوْضِعَ لَبِنَةٍ مِنْ زَاوِيَةٍ مِنْ زَوَايَاهُ، فَجَعَلَ النَّاسُ يُطِيفُونَ بِهِ، وَيَعْجَبُونَ مِنْهُ، وَيَقُولُونَ مَا رَأَيْنَا بُنْيَانًا أَحْسَنَ مِنْ هَذَا، إِلَّا مَوْضِعَ هَذِهِ اللَّبِنَةِ، فَكُنْتُ أَنَا هَذِهِ اللَّبِنَةَ".
