Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 7644
It is narrated on the authority of Said ibn Musayyab that once, Hassan ibn Thabit asked a group of people, including Abu Hurairah, “I ask you, by Allah, O Abu Hurairah, did you hear the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying, ‘Respond on my behalf, may Allah help you through the Holy Spirit?’” Abu Hurairah said, “Yes, by Allah.”

سعید بن مسیب رحمہ اللہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت حسان بن ثابت رضی اللہ عنہ نے ایک حلقے کے لوگوں سے جن میں حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ بھی شامل تھے فرمایا اے ابوہریرہ میں تمہیں اللہ کی قسم دے کر پوچھتا ہوں کیا تم نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ میری طرف سے جواب دو اللہ روح القدس کے ذریعے تمہاری مدد فرمائے حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا جی ہاں بخدا۔
Saeed bin Musayyab rehmatullah alaih se marvi hai ki ek martaba Hazrat Hassan bin Sabit razi Allah tala anhu ne ek halqe ke logon se jin mein Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah tala anhu bhi shamil thay farmaya aye Abu Hurairah mein tumhein Allah ki qasam de kar poochta hun kya tum ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki meri taraf se jawab do Allah Ruhul Qudus ke zariye tumhari madad farmaiye Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah tala anhu ne farmaya ji han bikhudah.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، أَنَّ حَسَّانَ قَالَ فِي حَلْقَةٍ فِيهِمْ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: أَنْشُدُكَ اللَّهَ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، هَلْ سَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " أَجِبْ عَنِّي، أَيَّدَكَ اللَّهُ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ" ؟، فَقَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ نَعَمْ.
