Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 7788
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Allah the Exalted said: 'Every act of the son of Adam is for him, except fasting. It is (exclusively) for Me, and I shall reward for it.' The odor of the mouth of a fasting person is better in the sight of Allah than the fragrance of musk."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ارشادباری تعالیٰ ہے ابن آدم کا ہر عمل اس کے لئے ہے البتہ روزہ خاص میرے لئے ہے اور میں خود اس کا بدلہ دوں گا روزہ دار کے منہ کی بھبک اللہ کے نزدیک مشک کی خوشبو سے زیادہ عمدہ ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya irshad bari tala hai ibn e adam ka har amal uske liye hai albatta roza khas mere liye hai aur main khud iska badla dun ga rozdar ke munh ki bhubak Allah ke qareeb mushk ki khushbu se zyada umda hai.
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، وَعَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: " كُلُّ عَمَلِ ابْنِ آدَمَ لَهُ، إِلَّا الصِّيَامَ، الصِّيَامُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ، وَلَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ" .
