Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8080
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: While some Abyssinians were showing their skill with spears in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) came there. He ('Umar) started picking up pebbles to throw at them. But the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Leave them alone, O 'Umar."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ کی موجودگی میں کچھ حبشی نیزوں سے کرتب دکھا رہے تھے کہ حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ آگئے وہ انہیں مارنے کے لئے کنکریاں اٹھانے لگے لیکن نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا عمر انہیں چھوڑ دو۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki aik martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki mojoodgi mein kuch Habshi nezon se kartab dikha rahe the ke Hazrat Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) aaye woh unhen marne ke liye kankariyan uthane lage lekin Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Umar unhen chhor do.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: بَيْنَا الْحَبَشَةُ يَلْعَبُونَ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِحِرَابِهِمْ، دَخَلَ عُمَرُ، فَأَهْوَى إِلَى الْحَصْبَاءِ يَحْصِبُهُمْ بِهَا، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " دَعْهُمْ يَا عُمَرُ" .
