Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8090
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the Battle of Khyber, we were in the service of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said about a claimant of Islam, "This man is from the people of Hellfire." When we engaged in battle, he fought with great bravery and sustained several wounds. Someone said in the court of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "O Messenger of Allah, the man about whom you said he is from the people of Hellfire, he fought with great bravery today and has died." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "He has gone to Hellfire." People almost doubted (the Prophet's words). In the meantime, someone said that he is not dead yet, but his wounds are very serious. When the night fell, he could not bear the pain of his wounds and killed himself. When the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was informed about this, he said “Allahu Akbar” and then said, "I bear witness that I am the servant of Allah and His Messenger." Then the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) to announce that only a Muslim will enter Paradise, and Allah Almighty sometimes takes the help of even a wicked and sinful person for (the victory of) His religion.

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ہم لوگ غزوہ خیبر کے موقع پر نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر تھے نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک مدعی اسلام کے متعلق فرمایا کہ یہ جہنمی ہے جب ہم لوگ لڑائی میں شریک ہوئے تو اس نے خوب بہادری کے ساتھ جنگ میں حصہ لیا اور اسے کئی زخم آئے کسی نے بارگاہ رسالت میں عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ ﷺ آپ نے جس آدمی کے متعلق فرمایا تھا کہ وہ جہنمی ہے اس نے تو آج بڑی بہادری سے جنگ میں حصہ لیا ہے اور فوت ہوگیا ہے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا وہ جہنم میں پہنچ گیا۔ اس پر قریب تھا کہ لوگ شک میں پڑجاتے کہ اسی دوران کسی نے کہا کہ وہ ابھی مرا نہیں ہے البتہ اس کے زخم انتہائی کاری ہیں رات ہوئی تو وہ زخموں کی تاب نہ لاسکا اور اس نے خودکشی کرلی نبی کریم ﷺ کو جب اس کی خبر ملی تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے اللہ اکبر کہہ کر فرمایا میں اس بات کی گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ میں اللہ کا بندہ اور اس کا رسول ہوں۔ پھر نبی کریم ﷺ نے حضرت بلال رضی اللہ عنہ کو یہ منادی کرنے کا حکم دیا کہ جنت میں صرف مسلمان آدمی ہی داخل ہوسکے گا اور اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے دین کی مدد بعض اوقات کسی فاسق و فاجر آدمی سے بھی کروا لیتا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai keh hum log Gazwa Khaibar ke mauqe par Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir thay, Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne aik muddai Islam ke mutaliq farmaya keh yeh jahanmi hai jab hum log larai mein sharik hue to us ne khoob bahaduri ke sath jang mein hissa liya aur usay kai zakhm aaye, kisi ne bargah risalat mein arz kiya Ya Rasulullah Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam aap ne jis aadmi ke mutaliq farmaya tha keh woh jahanmi hai us ne to aaj badi bahaduri se jang mein hissa liya hai aur foot ho gaya hai? Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya woh jahanam mein pohanch gaya. Iss par qareeb tha keh log shak mein parh jatay keh isi doran kisi ne kaha woh abhi mara nahi hai albatta us ke zakhm intehai kari hain, raat hui to woh zakhmon ki tab na la saka aur us ne khudkushi kar li, Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ko jab iss ki khabar mili to Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne Allah Akbar keh kar farmaya mein iss baat ki gawahi deta hun keh mein Allah ka banda aur us ka rasool hun. Phir Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne Hazrat Bilal Radi Allaho Anho ko yeh munaddi karne ka hukum diya keh jannat mein sirf musalman aadmi hi dakhil ho sakay ga aur Allah Ta'ala apne deen ki madad baaz auqaat kisi fasiq o fajir aadmi se bhi karwa leta hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: شَهِدْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ، فَقَالَ، يَعْنِي لِرَجُلٍ يَدَّعِي الْإِسْلَامَ:" هَذَا مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ"، فَلَمَّا حَضَرْنَا الْقِتَالَ قَاتَلَ الرَّجُلُ قِتَالًا شَدِيدًا، فَأَصَابَتْهُ جِرَاحَةٌ، فَقِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، الرَّجُلُ الَّذِي قُلْتَ لَهُ: إِنَّهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ، فَإِنَّهُ قَاتَلَ الْيَوْمَ قِتَالًا شَدِيدًا، وَقَدْ مَاتَ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِلَى النَّارِ"، فَكَادَ بَعْضُ النَّاسِ أَنْ يَرْتَابَ، فَبَيْنَمَا هُمْ عَلَى ذَلِكَ إِذْ قِيلَ: فَإِنَّهُ لَمْ يَمُتْ، وَلَكِنْ بِهِ جِرَاحٌ شَدِيدٌ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ لَمْ يَصْبِرْ عَلَى الْجِرَاحِ، فَقَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ، فَأُخْبِرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ:" اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، أَشْهَدُ أَنِّي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولُهُ"، ثُمَّ أَمَرَ بِلَالًا فَنَادَى فِي النَّاسِ:" أَنَّهُ لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ إِلَّا نَفْسٌ مُسْلِمَةٌ، وَإنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يُؤَيِّدُ هَذَا الدِّينَ بِالرَّجُلِ الْفَاجِرِ" .
