Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8110
Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said in the explanation of the verse, "Enter the gate prostrating and say, 'Relieve us of our burdens,'" (2:58). It was said to the Children of Israel, "Enter the city prostrating on your behinds and say, 'Hita,' that is, 'Forgive us.'" But they changed the word and began to say, "Hintah fi sha'irah," that is, "Wheat in barley."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشادباری تعالیٰ ادخلوا الباب سجدا کی تفسیر میں فرمایا کہ بنی اسرائیل سے کہا گیا تھا کہ اپنی سرینوں کے بل گھستے ہوئے اس شہر میں داخل ہوں اور یوں کہیں حطۃ (الہٰی معاف فرما) لیکن انہوں نے اس لفظ کو بدل دیا اور کہنے لگے حنطۃ فی شعیرۃ (گندم درکار ہے جو کے ساتھ)
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad bari ta'ala Adkhilu albaba sajida ki tafseer mein farmaya keh Bani Israel se kaha gaya tha keh apni sareeno ke bal ghaste hue is shehar mein dakhil hon aur yun kahein hata (ilahi maaf farma) lekin unhon ne is lafz ko badal diya aur kehne lage huntah fi sha'eera (gehun darkar hai jo ke sath).
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مُبَارَكٍ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: ادْخُلُوا الْبَابَ سُجَّدًا سورة البقرة آية 58، قَالَ: " دَخَلُوا زَحْفًا"، وَقُولُوا حِطَّةٌ سورة البقرة آية 58، قَالَ:" بَدَّلُوا فَقَالُوا: حِنْطَةٌ فِي شَعَرَةٍ" .
