The Musnad of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him)
مسنَد اَبِی هرَیرَةَ رَضِیَ اللَّه عَنه
Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8130
And the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said: A prophet rested under a tree. An ant bit him. He ordered his belongings to be removed from there and set fire to the entire anthill. Allah revealed to him, "Why did you not punish just one ant? (Only one ant had bitten, not all of them)."

اور نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ایک نبی نے کسی درخت کے نیچے پڑاؤ کیا انہیں کسی چیونٹی نے کاٹ لیا انہوں نے اپنے سامان کو وہاں سے ہٹانے کا حکم دیا اور چیونٹیوں کے پورے بل کو آگ لگا دی اللہ نے ان کے پاس وحی بھیجی کہ ایک ہی چیونٹی کو کیوں نہ سزا دی؟ (صرف ایک چیونٹی نے کاٹا تھا سب نے تو نہیں)
Aur Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ek nabi ne kisi darakht ke neeche parhao kiya unhen kisi cheonti ne kaat liya unhon ne apne saman ko wahan se hatane ka hukm diya aur cheontion ke poore bill ko aag laga di Allah ne unke paas wahi bheji keh ek hi cheonti ko kyun na saza di? (sirf ek cheonti ne kata tha sab ne to nahin).
وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " نَزَلَ نَبِيٌّ مِنَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ تَحْتَ شَجَرَةٍ، فَلَدَغَتْهُ نَمْلَةٌ، فَأَمَرَ بِجَهَازِهِ، فَأُخْرِجَ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا، وَأَمَرَ بِالنَّارِ، فَأُحْرِقَتْ فِي النَّارِ، قَالَ: فَأَوْحَى اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ: فَهَلَّا نَمْلَةً وَاحِدَةً" .
