The Musnad of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him)

مسنَد اَبِی هرَیرَةَ رَضِیَ اللَّه عَنه

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8145

And the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When the adhan for Fajr prayer is called and one of you is in a state of impurity (janabah), then he should not fast that day.


Grade: Sahih

اور نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جب فجر کی نماز کے لئے اذان ہوجائے اور تم میں سے کوئی شخص جنبی ہو تو وہ اس دن کا روزہ نہ رکھے۔

aur nabi kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jab fajar ki namaz ke liye azaan hojae aur tum mein se koi shakhs junubi ho to wo us din ka roza na rakhe.

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا نُودِيَ لِلصَّلَاةِ، صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ، وَأَحَدُكُمْ جُنُبٌ، فَلَا يَصُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ" .
