The Musnad of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him)
مسنَد اَبِی هرَیرَةَ رَضِیَ اللَّه عَنه
Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8199
And the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "O Allah, I ask of You a promise that You will never break with me, that if, as a human being, I have caused any harm to any Muslim, or spoken ill of him, or whipped him, or cursed him, then for his sake, make it a source of mercy and purification for him and a means of Your closeness on the Day of Judgment."

اور نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اے اللہ میں تجھ سے یہ وعدہ لیتا ہوں جس کی تو مجھ سے کبھی خلاف ورزی نہیں کرے گا کہ میں نے انسان ہونے کے ناطے جس مسلمان کو کوئی اذیت پہنچائی ہو یا اسے برا بھلا کہا ہو یا اسے کوڑے مارے ہوں یا اسے لعنت کی ہو تو تو اس شخص کے حق میں اسے باعث رحمت و تزکیہ اور قیامت کے دن اپنی قربت کا سبب بنا دے۔
Aur Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya aye Allah mein tujh se ye waada leta hun jis ki tu mujh se kabhi khilaf warzi nahin kare ga ke maine insan hone ke nate jis musalman ko koi azat pahunchayi ho ya use bura bhala kaha ho ya use kore maare hon ya use laanat ki ho to tu us shakhs ke haq mein use baes rehmat o tazkiya aur qayamat ke din apni qurbat ka sabab bana de.
وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَتَّخِذُ عِنْدَكَ عَهْدًا لَنْ تُخْلِفَنِيهِ، إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ، فَأَيُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ آذَيْتُهُ، أَوْ شَتَمْتُهُ، أَوْ جَلَدْتُهُ، أَوْ لَعَنْتُهُ، فَاجْعَلْهَا لَهُ صَلَاةً وَزَكَاةً وَقُرْبَةً تُقَرِّبُهُ بِهَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ" .
