The Musnad of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him)

مسنَد اَبِی هرَیرَةَ رَضِیَ اللَّه عَنه

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8209

And the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When two men are compelled to take an oath, and both wish to swear, then they should draw lots."


Grade: Sahih

اور نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جب دو آدمیوں کو قسم کھانے پر مجبور کیا جائے اور دونوں قسم کھانا چاہیں تو قرعہ اندازی کر لینی چاہئے۔

aur nabi kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jab do admiyon ko qasam khane par majboor kya jaye aur donon qasam khana chahen to qur'a andazi kar leni chahiye.

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا أُكْرِهَ الِاثْنَانِ عَلَى الْيَمِينِ، وَاسْتَحَبَّاهَا، فَلْيَسْتَهِمَا عَلَيْهَا" .
