The Musnad of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him)

مسنَد اَبِی هرَیرَةَ رَضِیَ اللَّه عَنه

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8246

And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "As long as a person is waiting for the prayer, he is considered to be in prayer. It is the waiting for the prayer that keeps him in the mosque.”


Grade: Sahih

اور نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا آدمی جب تک نماز کا انتظار کرتا رہتا ہے اسے نماز ہی میں شمار کیا جاتا ہے نماز کا انتظار ہی اسے مسجد میں روک کر رکھتا ہے۔

aur nabi kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya aadmi jab tak namaz ka intezar karta rahta hai use namaz hi mein shumar kya jata hai namaz ka intezar hi use masjid mein rok kar rakhta hai

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا يَزَالُ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلَاةٍ مَا كَانَتْ الصَّلَاةُ هِيَ تَحْبِسُهُ، لَا يَمْنَعُهُ إِلَّا انْتِظَارُهَا" .
