The Musnad of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him)

مسنَد اَبِی هرَیرَةَ رَضِیَ اللَّه عَنه

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8247

And the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The upper hand is better than the lower hand, and you should begin charity with those who are your dependents."


Grade: Sahih

اور نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اوپر والا ہاتھ نیچے والے ہاتھ سے بہتر ہوتا ہے اور تم صدقات و خیرات میں ان لوگوں سے ابتداء کرو جو تمہاری ذمہ داری میں آتے ہیں۔

Aur Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya upar wala hath neeche wale hath se behtar hota hai aur tum sadqaat o khairat mein in logon se ibtida karo jo tumhari zimmedari mein aate hain.

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْيَدُ الْعُلْيَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْيَدِ السُّفْلَى، وَابْدَأْ بِمَنْ تَعُولُ" .
