Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8384
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) advised me of three things (which I will not leave till my death) (1) To offer the Witr prayer before sleeping (2) To take a bath on Friday (3) To observe fast for three days every month.

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ مجھے نبی کریم ﷺ نے تین چیزوں کی وصیت کی ہے (میں انہیں مرتے دم تک نہ چھوڑوں گا) (١) سونے سے پہلے نماز وتر پڑھنے کی (٢) جمعہ کے دن غسل کرنے کی (٣) ہر مہینے میں تین دن روزہ رکھنے کی۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki mujhe Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne teen cheezon ki wasiyat ki hai (mein inhen marte dam tak nah chhorun ga) (1) sone se pehle namaz witr parhne ki (2) Jumma ke din ghusl karne ki (3) har mahine mein teen din roza rakhne ki.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: أَمَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِثَلَاثٍ: " بِنَوْمٍ عَلَى وِتْرٍ، وَالْغُسْلِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ، وَصَوْمِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ" .
