Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8417
Narrated by Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A person is on the religion of his friend, so you should consider whom you are making your friend."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا انسان اپنے دوست کے دین پر ہوتا ہے اس لئے تمہیں غور کرلینا چاہئے کہ تم کسے اپنا دوست بنا رہے ہو؟
Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya insan apne dost ke deen par hota hai is liye tumhen ghor karlena chahie ki tum kise apna dost bana rahe ho?
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ ، حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ وَرْدَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَال: " الْمَرْءُ عَلَى دِينِ خَلِيلِهِ، فَلْيَنْظُرْ أَحَدُكُمْ مَنْ يُخَالِلْ" .
