Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8433
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The Day of Judgment will not be established until my Ummah indulges in the deeds of the previous nations, hand span by hand span, and cubit by cubit." The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked, "O Messenger of Allah, like the Persians and the Romans?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "Were there not any people before them?"

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا قیامت اس وقت تک قائم نہیں ہوگی جب تک میری امت گزشتہ امتوں والے اعمال میں بالشت بالشت بھر اور گز گز بھر مبتلانہ ہوجائے صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے پوچھا یا رسول اللہ کیا جیسے فارس اور روم کے لوگوں نے کیا؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا تو کیا ان کے علاوہ بھی پہلے کوئی لوگ گذرے ہیں؟
Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya qayamat us waqt tak qaem nahi hogi jab tak meri ummat guzishta ummaton wale amal mein balisht balisht bhar aur gaz gaz bhar mutlabanah hojae Sahaba (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne poocha Ya Rasul Allah kya jaise Faris aur Rome ke logon ne kiya Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya to kya un ke ilawa bhi pehle koi log guzre hain
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ: " لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى تَأْخُذَ أُمَّتِي أَخْذَ الْأُمَمِ قَبْلَهَا، شِبْرًا بِشِبْرٍ، وَذِرَاعًا بِذِرَاعٍ" فقَالَ رَجُلٌ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، كَمَا فَعَلَتْ فَارِسُ والرُّومُ؟ قَالَ:" وَمَا النَّاسُ إِلَّا أُولَئِكَ" .
