Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8519
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "The believer is jealous, and Allah is more jealous than him. And part of Allah's jealousy is that He hates for His slave to commit that which He has forbidden."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: مومن غیرت مند ہوتا ہے اور اللہ اس سے بھی زیادہ غیور ہے۔ اور غیرت الٰہی کا یہ حصہ ہے کہ انسان ایسی چیزوں سے اجتناب کرے جنہیں اللہ نے حرام قرار دیا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Momin ghairat mand hota hai aur Allah us se bhi zyada ghayur hai. Aur ghairat ilahi ka ye hissa hai ki insan aisi cheezon se ijtinab kare jinhen Allah ne haram qarar diya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا يعنى أَبَانُ الْعَطَّارُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَن ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ: " الْمُؤْمِنُ يَغَارُ، وَاللَّهُ يَغَارُ، وَمِنْ غَيْرَةِ اللَّهِ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ الْمُؤْمِنُ شَيْئًا حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ" .
