Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8538
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The angels of the night and the angels of the day gather at the time of Fajr and Asr prayers. When the angels of the day ascend to the heavens, Allah Almighty asks them: From where have you come? They say: We have come from Your servants, when we parted from them, they were praying, and when we went to them, they were praying. Then when the angels of the night ascend to the heavens, Allah Almighty asks them as well: From where have you come? They reply: We have come from Your servants, when we went to them, they were praying, and when we came from them, they were still praying.

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: رات اور دن کے فرشتے نماز فجر اور نماز عصر کے وقت اکھٹے ہوتے ہیں جب دن کے فرشتے آسمانوں پر چڑھ جاتے ہیں تو اللہ تعالیٰ ان سے پوچھتا ہے کہ تم کہاں سے آئے ہو وہ کہتے ہیں کہ آپ کے بندوں کے پاس سے آرہے ہیں جس وقت ہم ان سے رخصت ہوئے وہ تب بھی نماز پڑھ رہے تھے اور جب ان کے پاس گئے تھے وہ تب بھی نماز پڑھ رہے تھے پھر جب رات کے فرشتے آسمانوں پر چڑھتے ہیں تو اللہ تعالیٰ ان سے بھی پوچھتا ہے کہ تم کہاں سے آرہے ہو؟ وہ جواب دیتے ہیں کہ ہم آپ کے بندوں کے پاس سے آرہے ہیں جب ہم ان کے پاس گئے وہ تب بھی نماز پڑھ رہے تھے اور جب ان کے پاس سے آئے وہ تب بھی نماز پڑھ رہے تھے۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Raat aur din ke farishtey Namaz Fajr aur Namaz Asr ke waqt ikathe hote hain jab din ke farishtey aasmanon per chadh jate hain to Allah Ta'ala un se puchta hai ke tum kahan se aye ho woh kehte hain ke aap ke bandon ke pass se aa rahe hain jis waqt hum un se rukhsat hue woh tab bhi Namaz padh rahe thay aur jab un ke pass gaye thay woh tab bhi Namaz padh rahe thay phir jab raat ke farishtey aasmanon per chadhte hain to Allah Ta'ala un se bhi puchta hai ke tum kahan se aa rahe ho? Woh jawab dete hain ke hum aap ke bandon ke pass se aa rahe hain jab hum un ke pass gaye woh tab bhi Namaz padh rahe thay aur jab un ke pass se aye woh tab bhi Namaz padh rahe thay.
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ:" يَجْتَمِعُ مَلَائِكَةُ اللَّيْلِ وَمَلَائِكَةُ النَّهَارِ عِنْدَ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ وَصَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ، فَإِذَا عَرَجَتْ مَلَائِكَةُ النَّهَارِ، قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: لَهُمْ مِنْ أَيْنَ جِئْتُمْ؟ فَيَقُولُونَ: جِئْنَاكَ مِنْ عِنْدِ عِبَادِكَ أَتَيْنَاهُمْ وَهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ، وَجِئْنَاكَ وَهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ، فَإِذَا عَرَجَتْ مَلَائِكَةُ اللَّيْلِ، قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: لَهُمْ مِنْ أَيْنَ جِئْتُمْ؟ قَالُوا: جِئْنَاكَ مِنْ عِنْدِ عِبَادٍك، أَتَيْنَاهُمْ وَهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ، وَجِئْنَاكَ وَهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ" .
