Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8583
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) was told of the death of the Negus, so the Companions lined up behind him and he led them in praying the funeral prayer for him, and he said four Takbirs over him.

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کو نجاشی کی موت کی اطلاع ملی تو صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہ نے نبی ﷺ کے پیچھے صفیں باندھ لیں نبی ﷺ نے ان کی نماز جنازہ پڑھائی اور اس میں چار تکبیرات کہیں۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira RA se marvi hai ki Nabi SAW ko Najashi ki maut ki ittila mili to Sahaba karam RA ne Nabi SAW ke peeche safein bandh len Nabi SAW ne unki namaz janaza padhai aur is mein chaar takbeerat kahin.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيد ، عَنْ أَبِي هرَيْرَةَ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " لَمَّا بَلَغَهُ مَوْتُ النَّجَاشِيِّ صَلَّى عَلَيْهِ، وَصَفُّوا خَلْفَهُ، فَكَبَّرَ عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا .
