Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8634
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a black woman or a man used to serve Masjid-e-Nabawi (sweeping and cleaning the mosque). One day, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not see him. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) inquired about him from the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them). They said that he had died. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Why did you not inform me?" The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) submitted, "He was an ordinary person (so we did not consider it appropriate to bother you)." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Show me his grave." The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) showed him the grave. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went to his grave and prayed for his forgiveness.

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک سیاہ فام عورت یا مرد مسجد نبوی کی خدمت کرتا تھا (مسجد میں جھاڑو دے کر صفائی ستھرائی کا خیال رکھتا تھا) ایک دن نبی ﷺ کو وہ نظر نہ آیا نبی ﷺ نے صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے اس کے متعلق پوچھا تو انہوں نے بتایا کہ وہ تو فوت ہوگیا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: تم نے مجھے کیوں نہیں بتایا؟ صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہ نے عرض کیا کہ وہ ایک عام آدمی تھا (اس لئے آپ کو زحمت دینا مناسب نہ سمجھا) نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: مجھے اس کی قبر بتاؤ صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہ نے بتادی چنانچہ نبی ﷺ نے اس کی قبر پر جا کر اس کے لئے دعاء مغفرت کی
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki aik siyah faam aurat ya mard Masjid Nabvi ki khidmat karta tha (Masjid mein jhadu de kar safai suthraai ka khayal rakhta tha) aik din Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko woh nazar na aaya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Sahaba (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se uske mutalliq poocha to unhon ne bataya ki woh to fout hogaya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Tum ne mujhe kyon nahi bataya? Sahaba Kiram (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne arz kiya ki woh aik aam aadmi tha (is liye aap ko zahmat dena munasib na samjha) Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Mujhe uski qabar batao Sahaba Kiram (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne batayi chunancha Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne uski qabar par ja kar uske liye dua maghfirat ki.
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ : أَنَّ امْرَأَةً سَوْدَاءَ أَوْ رَجُلًا كَانَ يَقُمُّ الْمَسْجِدَ، ففقده رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَأَلَ عَنْهُ، فَقَالُوا: مَاتَ، فَقَالَ: " أَلَا كُنْتُمْ آذَنْتُمُونِي بِهِ!" قَالُوا: إِنَّهُ كَانَ لَيْلًا، قَالَ: فَقَالَ:" دُلُّونِي عَلَى قَبْرِهِ" فَدَلُّوهُ، فَأَتَى قَبْرَهُ فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ .
